B0YS brigade camp (aka my gran's) « Thread Started on Aug 1, 2005, 7:01pm »
as some of you may or may not know, some of us guys on the board went on BB camp for the last 2 weeks.
heres the highlights.
wednesday 20th- leave hq at 9:30 am. sunny weather. busy day, first tent up most important. the kitchen!!! found the kettle, made a brew.
thursday and friday, still sunny, less work because we did most on wednesday. by friday pm it starts to rain.
rains all week on and off until sunday (yesterday)
but that didnt stop our fun!
i had a cricket ball smashed full pelt into my face which left me swolen but it was funny. only downside being i couldnt smile about it because my cheek was soo swolen i couldnt move it.
someone chipped a bone in their finger after playing on the slug!
thw slug was an air bed which the stitching broke on. this caused it to become a huge inflated slug shaped thing which was very bouncy.
we visited woodlands (an adventure park) which was also very funny, especially the weird looks you get when you wear red and white viking hats.
i'll tell ya more stories soon but my sis wants the pc. how rude.

yea Gray, you didn't quite get round to singing it did you! i don't think the person it was targeted at found it funny though, i don't think its fair if you quote any of the words if it offends him.

oh oh oh. another good memory. twas funny. we all went on the beach in our wellie boots and i was in my camoflage trousers because i didnt mind gettin them wet.
anyway. the tide was coming in and 2 of our members went rock climing. me and davey ho realised they had gone so we started after them. we ran past these women and they gave us a funny look. so we shouted (to eachother) we best catch him, this isnt the 1st time he's escaped. so we went around the rocks, caught one of our lads and grabbed him by the arms and dragged him past these women again. they looked quite worried as we were properly dragging him (well we were acting but it looked proper). shouting that we'd caught the convict... it was funny, but i guess u had to be there
